Infection is a condition caused by a harmful microbial invasion of the body tissues

Most cases of bacterial infection are treated with antibiotics. However, bacterias are very adaptable, overuse of antibiotics has been found to make them resistant to antibiotics.

Out of trillions of strains of bacteria in the world, only a few cause diseases in humans. Believe it or not, our gut contains trillion microorganisms, most of them are bacteria.

The most common symptoms of bacterial infection are redness and heat, swelling, fever, pain at the site of infection.

In severe cases, the patient may also experience symptoms of swollen lymph glands.

Kale is a species of Brassica Oleracea, belongings to the family Brassicaceae, native to coastal southern and western Europe. The veggie's leave is highly nutritious cultivated as foods in most parts of Europe.

On finding a potent compound for the prevention and treatment-induced potentially undesirable increasing resistance of H. pylori with the use of antibiotics, researchers examined the effects of natural compounds' anti-bacterial activity.

According to studies selected to the research
Broccoli sprouts cruciferous vegetables include kale, cabbage, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, red-headed cabbage, and radishes (high in isothiocyanates) with a rich in sulforaphane, can diminish the H. pylori growth ().
* Apples containing flavonoids have been found to defend the lining materials of the stomach against H.pylori infection (7).

* Honey exhibits potent in vitro bacteriostatic activity against H. pylori and inhibits urease activity. The antibacterial activity of honey is attributable to its hydrogen peroxide content (5).

*Probiotic bacteria can modulate H. pylori activity by either immunological (reduction of IL-1 and IL-6) or non-immunological mechanisms (competition with potential microorganisms) ().

In other words, the medicinal properties of some foods and compounds aforementioned may be used as a new adjuvant therapy for H.pylori eradication.

Taken altogether, planted based compounds may be considered a functional food for the promotion of bile acid-binding, pending to the confirmation of the larger sample size and multicenter human study.

Intake of SFN in the form of supplements should be taken with extreme care to prevent overdose acute liver toxicity.
