During the last stage of the menstrual cycle, normally a layer of endometriosis lining on the inside of the uterus is expelled, known as menstruation blood, instead some of the endometriosis tissues grow somewhere in the body to cause endometriosis. Endometriosis also react to hormone signals of the monthly menstrual cycle, by building and breaking up tissues and eliminating them through menstrual period.
The apricot tree is about 8–12 m tall and a trunk up to 40 cm diameter belongs to the family Rosaceae. Apricot is classified with the family of the plum and has yellow to orange, often tinged red on the side which is exposed to the sun.

Apricots possesses the highest levels and widest variety of carotenoid, that is essential for the immune system(3) in fighting and winning any battle against foreign invasion of bacteria, virus and forming of endometrial implants and adhesion(4).

3. Cell abnormality
Apricot seed is said containing substance that helps in regulating the cell production and cell duplication, thereby reducing the risk of formation of tumor, cancer(5)(9) or normal peritoneal cells developing into endometrial cells within the abdomen(4).

Apricot has been used in the Chinese medicine in liver or body detoxification, That helps to regenerate the body function in all aspects including the liver in carbohydrate synthesis and protein and fat metabolism(8).

5. Respiratory system
Apricot has also been used in traditional medicine to help to regenerate the normal respiratory function(10), thereby it increases the oxygen absorption into the blood stream resulting in lessening the symptoms of endometriosis(12)(13), such as memory loss, anxiety and depression.
