#Greentea inhibits the Risk of Chronic Inflammatory Diseases through Its Antioxidant Activity, Researchers Find

Good news for people with chronic inflammatory diseases, green tea polyphenols (GrTPs) is found to reduce the risk and progression of the diseases through the exhibition of potent antioxidants in regulating vital signaling pathways involved production of inflammatory cytokines. a renowned institute study suggested.

In fact, according to the study, the efficacy of Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), for the treatment of
psoriasis-like inflammation is the result of the phytochemical functions in anti-inflammatory, immune regulatory, and antioxidant activation.

Taking together, green tea may be used as a protectively functional food in the prevention and treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases, but regular large amounts of injections should be avoided to prevent toxicity.
