Moreover, the injection of TRA also blocked nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) activation via modulating inhibitors of kappa B (IκB), IκB kinase (IKK) in the control of cytokines production and cell survival and transforming growth factor-β-activated kinase 1 (TAK1) to prevent the accumulation of ROS, resulting in cell death and inflammation.
Taken altogether, dandelion may be considered a remedy for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, pending the confirmation of the larger sample size and multicenter human study.

The finding evidence suggested that coffee and coffee caffeine may have a profound effect in reduced risk of cancer linearly.

Aloe Vera, the Anti-Microbial Herbal Medicine

A recent study performed by a renowned institute suggested that intake of Aloe Vera or Aloe Vera supplement may reduce the risk of microbial infection and infectious diseases.
Aloe Vera is species of succulent plant in the genus Aloe, belonging to the Family Xanthorrhoeaceae, native to Sudan, used in herbal medicine in treating many kinds of disease, including wound, burn- healing, minor skin infections, sebaceous cysts, diabetes, and elevated of cholesterols, etc.
In a total of Sixty students in the age group 6-12 years selected from an orphanage center, divided into four groups study, oral administration of Aloe Vera group showed a decrease of the bacterial count by 80.94% .
Dr. Bhati N, the lead author said, "Herbal dentifrices containing A. Vera... can be safely recommended as an alternative to fluoridated dentifrices in terms of antimicrobial efficacy".
In Streptococcus mutant strains, Aloe vera brushing showed a reduced bacteria contamination of Streptococcus mutant strains, without differentiation from the other chemical agents used.
In fact, Aloe vera in the study against pathogenic such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus cereus, Salmonella Typhimurium, Proteus vulgaris, Klebsiella pneumonia, Escherichia coli, Streptococcus pyogenes and Candida albicans displayed a significantly antimicrobial inhibition rate zones ranging from 6.0 ± 0.57 to 16.6 ± 0.57 mm as the result of the expression of bioactive compounds with high 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH, stable free-radical molecules isolated from the herb), composed of scavenging properties.
Taking together, oral administration of Aloe Vera is found to associate to reduced risk of microbial infection and infectious diseases, but a large amount intake should only be prescribed by related field specialists.

Phytochemical Tocopherols, the Potential Treatment for Malaria

Malaria, a mosquito-borne infectious disease caused by parasitic protozoans.
According to the statistic, malaria is one of the most common diseases in Nigeria, affecting over 97% of Nigeria's population. There are an estimated 100 million malaria cases with over 300,000 deaths per year.
Symptoms of malaria tend to occur in cycles, which correspond to the life cycle of the parasite. The most common symptoms include headaches, fatigue, muscle aches, and gastrointestinal discomforts including diarrhea.
In severe cases, patients with malaria may also experience symptoms of shortness of breath caused by fluid in the lungs and expanded abdomen caused by enlarged spleen hypoglycemia and liver diseases such as jaundice and low blood glucose.
Immune deficiency, pregnant women, newborn babies are prone to the disease if they are bitten by an infected mosquito.
Symptoms of cerebral malaria are fever, headache, body ache and progressively, delirium and coma.
The study included selected C57BL/6J mice infected with P. yoelii 17XL and P. berghei ANKA, induced cerebral malaria (ECM), treated with several concentrations of α-TOS by intraperitoneal administration on 1, 3, 5, and 7 days post-infection (dpi).
According to the analysis, α-TOS treatment groups showed a significant decrease in parasitemia and improvement of the survival rate compared to a significant increase in mice infected with both parasites.
Furthermore, the intensity of Evans blue staining associated with plasma membrane damage on brains taken from α-TOS-treated mice was weaker than that of untreated mice.
