Dietary Minerals are the group of minerals essential for our body to sustain normal functions and physical health.
In General, potassium is an essential mineral for our
body to build proteins and muscle, break down
carbohydrates, maintain normal body growth and normal heart electricity,
etc.
Blood pressure is the force of blood pushing against the walls
of the arteries as the heart pumps out blood. High blood pressure means
raising pressure in your heart. If it stays high over time it can damage the body in many ways.
The effects
Administration of high potassium diets is found to be effective in lowering of blood pressure in some animal models of hypertension. Researchers suggested that the effect may be the result of
diuretic action in reducing the extracellular fluid volume, thus
decreased blood pressure. Others insisted that the lowering blood
pressure of high potassium diet may influence the potassium
modifies central or the peripheral neural mechanisms in regulating
blood pressure. In fact, increase fruit and vegetable intake such as banana,
papaya, mango, spinach, tomatoes, etc., may help increase dietary potassium and reduce hypertension-related disease.
Side effects
Overdose of potassium, also known as hyperkalemia may cause symptoms
of hypotension, stomach cramps, diarrhea, vomiting, irritability,
fatigue, etc., and in some cases, it can be life-threatening due to
electrolyte abnormality.

in wet, marshy, damp land, including wetland, riverside, forest, etc.,
is a creeping underground plant, genus Petasites of 15 -20 species,
belonging to the family Asteraceae, native to Northern Hemisphere. It
has been used in herbal medicne used as an pain reliever in digestive
system, including stomach, bile ducts, and duodenum, etc.
Seasonal allergic rhinitis is a condition of inflammation of the nasal passages as a result of seasonal allergic effects.
The Ingredients
The chemical constituents of Butterbur include Petioles, petasitene and pethybrene, quercetin 3-O-beta-D-glucoside, quercetin 3-O-beta-D-6''-O-acetylglucoside, and rutin, caffeic acid, alkaloids, S-petasin and iso-S-petasin, etc.
The benefits
Conventional, complementary, and alternative options for seasonal allergies study showed several dietary supplements, such as butterbur and vitamin C, have some preliminary evidence of that may be beneficiary to patients with seasonal allergic rhinitis. Although butterbur has hold some promise, complementary and alternative therapies have not been integrated into the general treatment armamentarium of allergic rhinitis. Also in the study of Herbal medicines for the treatment of allergic rhinitis, butterbur extract for allergic rhinitis (AR) is superior to placebo or similarly effective compared with nonsedative antihistamines for intermittent AR, researchers insist confirmation in larger and more rigorously designed clinical trials is warranted with a large sample size.
Side effects
1. Butterbur may be liver-toxic to liver and cause cancer due to the presence of pyrrolizidine alkaloids(a)
2. If you are pregnant please do not use Butterbur with out the permission of the related special field specialist
3. Allergic effect to certain people who are allergic to ragweed, marigold, daisy, etc.
4. Overdoses may cause indigestion, headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, etc.

Herbal Andrographis and Renoprotective effects
Andrographis paniculata
is also known as Andrographis is a herbaceous plant, genus
Andrographis, belonging to the family Acanthaceae, native to India and
Sri Lanka. It has been used in traditional Siddha and Ayurvedic in
treating the common cold, flu, upper respiratory infections, infectious
diseases, diarrhea, dysentery, cholera, pneumonia, swollen lymph nodes,
leprosy, bronchitis, sore throats, tuberculosis, chicken pox, etc.
Renoprotective effect is defined of a protection against harmful of the kidney.
The Ingredients
Beside the main ingredient andrographolides, giving the plant a bitter taste, other ingredients includediterpene lactones, such as: neoandrographolide, andrographiside, 14-doexy-11, 12-didehydro andrographolide, etc., flavonoinds viz., oroxylin, wogonin, andrographidines A, B, C, D, E, F.
The Benefits
Renal failure is an increasingly common condition with limited treatment options in developing world. In the study to evaluate the antirenal failure activity of A. paniculata, aqueous extract of A. paniculata attenuated the gentamicin-induced increase in serum creatinine, serum urea, and blood urea nitrogen levels by 176.92%, 106.27%, and 202.90%, respectively by exhibiting a significant renoprotective effect in gentamicin-induced nephrotoxicity in rats. Other in the study of the effect of various herbal adaptogens, including on cadmium (Cd)-induced oxidative stress and its accumulation in broiler chicken, found that the increase in TBARS and decrease in GSH concentrations of liver and kidney tissues in cadmium intoxicated birds were significantly reversed by the above-said herbs. The liver and kidney functional markers were also restored to normal levels. Unfortunately, Andrographolide was found to cause acute kidney injury shortly after intravenous infusion of andrographolide, with symptoms including flank pain, decreased urine output, and nausea or vomiting.
The Side effects
1. Antifertility
Dry leaf powder of A. paniculata increases the risk accumulating of glycogen and cholesterol in the testis, and increased activities of lactate dehydrogenase in testis and alkaline phosphatase in testis and ventral prostate, thus reducing the risk of fertility.
2. People with gallbladder disease may want to consult with their doctor before using because of the herb stimulating gallbladder contraction effect.

Phytochemical Anacardic acids and Prostate cancer
Phytochemicals, the natural chemical
constituent, protect the plants against diseases and form their
outer's color. Phytochemicals may be next potential sources of new
medicine for treatment of
diseases with little or no side effects.
Anacardic acids are phenolic lipids, phytochemicals of the organic acid found abundantly in cashews, mangoes, etc.
Prostate cancer is defined as a condition in which the cells of prostate has become cancerous, causing abnormal cell growth which spread to the distant parts of the body. Most prostate cancers are slow growing and enlarged prostate and prostate cancer may be detected during the Physical (rectum) exams.
The health Benefits
Anacardic acid (6-pentadecylsalicylic acid), a natural chemical constituent from ancient plant Amphipterygium adstringens, also known as a non-specific histone acetyltransferase inhibitor of p300, beside exhibuts its anti-inflammatory, anticancer, antioxidative, and antimicrobial effects, but also revealed that Src protein expression, tumor cell proliferation, and microvessel density could be remarkably suppressed by anacardic acid and may be considered as a potent agent to treat prostate cancer. Other study of Anacardic acid (6-pentadecylsalicylic acid), also showed to inhibit of prostate cancer by down-regulates androgen receptor (AR) through supressing p300.

Phytochemicals Phytic acid and Alzheimer's disease (AD)
Phytochemicals, the natural chemical
constituent, protect the plants against diseases and form their
outer's color. Phytochemicals may be next potential sources of new
medicine for treatment of
diseases with little or no side effects.
Phytic acid (Inositol hexaphosphate) are phytichemicasl of the organic acid found abundantly in nuts, sesame seeds, soybeans, wheat, pumpkin, beans, almonds, etc.
Alzheimer's disease is a brain disorder named after German physician Alois Alzheimer. Alzheimer's destroys brain cells, causing problems with memory, thinking and behavior severe enough to affect language communication, memory, lifelong hobbies or social life. Alzheimer's gets worse over time, and it is fatal.
The benefits
In the study of the effects of Phytic acid (inositol hexakisphosphate), a phytochemical found in food grains an others, against amyloid-β (Aβ) pathology in MC65 cells and the Tg2576 mouse model. After 48-72-hour treatment, phytic acid is founf to be provided complete protection against amyloid precursor protein-C-terminal fragment-induced cytotoxicity. 2% phytic acid in drinking water for 70 days also showed a significant increase in brain levels of cytochrome oxidase and a decrease in lipid peroxidation. Other in the study of composition and method for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and related amyloid plaque development and reduction of amyloid plaque, amyloidosis and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis with phytic acid, a phytate salt, an isomer or hydrolysate of phytic acid or a phytate salt, or a mixture of any combination showed that very low doses of phytic acid are effective in the treatment and prevention of aggregation of beta amyloid proteins as are commonly seen in the brains of Alzheimer's patients.
