Premenstrual syndrome effects over 70% to 90% of women before menopause in the US and less for women in Southeast Asia because of their difference in living style and social structure. It is defined as faulty function of the ovaries related to the women's menstrual cycle, it effects a women's physical and emotional state, and sometimes interferes with daily activities as a result of hormone fluctuation. The syndrome occurs one to two weeks before menstruation and then declines when the period starts.
Breast tenderness effects more than 70% of women in the US alone. Sometimes, it is so painful that some women afraid to be hugged and are experience uncomfortable during sleep.
1. Caffeine
Caffeine is a stimulant, containing methylxanthines, a chemical exhibited the symptoms of PMS(4) including breast tenderness(5)(6), breast pain(1)(2) and induced fibrocystic breast disease(2)(3). Reducing intake of foods containing caffeine such as coffee, tea 3 to 4 days before period may help to reduce the symptoms of breast tenderness and pain(1)(4).
2. Stress
Prolactin produced abundant by during baby feeding(9), may also be released during prolong period of stress(7)(8) to cause breast tenderness(10)(11)(12) for some women with PMS.

1 tbsp. frozen peas, thawed
1 tbsp. shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degree. Grease 1 muffin tip cup with either non hydrogenated margarine or canola oil. Fill remaining cups with water.
In a small bowl, combine egg, bacon, peas and cheese. Pour into greased muffin cup.
Bake for 20 minutes or until quiche is puffed and egg is set. Transfer muffin tin to a wire rack to cook for 5 minutes. With a knife, gently loosen edges of quiche and remove from pan.
Serves 1

Risks for AD and all-cause dementia were lower significantly with the use of any NSAIDs, but there is a weak link associated between usage of NSAIDs and the risk of cognitive impairment but not dementia (CIND(148)
3. Cannabis
Cannabis has been used for the treatment of a number of conditions, including neuropathic pain, treatment of spasticity associated with multiple sclerosis, and chemotherapy-induced nausea, etc,. These are a wonderful lunch box snack. They are exceptionally versatile and freeze well. They can be placed on a salad, wrapped in a pita pocket or serve on their own with a little tzatziki for dipping. Try doubling the recipe and freezing the extras so you have a plenty on hand.
2tbsp. canola oil
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 cup celery, diced
1 garlic glove, minced(optional)
2 cans(7nabd 1/2 oz. 213g each) salmon, drained and skin removed
2 large eggs, beaten
1/2 cup whole wheat bread crumbs
1 squeeze fresh lemon juice
1/2 round tsp. chopped fresh dill(optional)
1/2 tsp. ground pepper
1/2 tsp. lemon zest
Heat 1 tbsp. of oil in skillet over medium heat. Add onions and celery and saute for 8 minutes.
Add garlic(if using) and sauté for another 2 minutes, being careful not to burn garlic.
In bowl, combine onion mixture, salmon, eggs, bread crumbs, lemon juice, dill, pepper and lemon zest.
Shape 3 tbsp. salmon mixture into patty. Repeat with remaining salon mixture.
Heat remaining 1 tbsp. of oil in skillet, and cook patties for 4 -6 minutes per side or until golden with slightly crispy coating.
Yield approximately 12 salmon patties.

Intake of trans fat is also found to potentially increase the AD risk or causes an earlier onset of the disease due to its effects in increased production of amyloid beta (Aβ) peptides, main components of senile plaques(136).
2. Artificial sweetener
Artificial sweetener can cause obesity risk of dementia independent of diabetes and cardiovascular comorbidities(137). and induced increasing consumption of fat(138).
3. Fast Foods
Fast foods, unwholesome foods, containing high amounts of artificial ingredients, with an aim to be cooked fast and handed over to the customer in minutes may induce anxiety, tension, depression, difficulty in concentration, and memory of that can lead to onset of senile dementia(139).

Preheat oven to 350 degree. Grease 1 muffin tip cup with either non hydrogenated margarine or canola oil. Fill remaining cups with water.
In a small bowl, combine egg, broccoli and cheese. Pour into greased muffin cup.
Bake for 20 minutes or until quiche is puffed and egg is set. Transfer muffin tin to a wire rack to cook for 5 minutes. With a knife, gently loosen edges of quiche and remove from pan.
