Regular physical activity has long been found to associate to the prevention of cancer, cardiovascular disease, and other chronic diseases, the joint study led by Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, showed that regular physical activity (PA) induces desirable changes in plasma levels of high- and low-density lipoproteins (HDL and LDL, respectively) and triglycerides (TG), important risk factors for cardiometabolic diseases(1).
