Mushroom is a standard name of white button mushroom, the fleshy,
spore-bearing fruiting body of a fungus produced above ground on soil
or on its food source, It is a genus A. Muscaria and belong to the
family Amanitaceae and has been cultivation in many cultures all over the world for foods and health benefits.

acid, orsellinic acid, melleolide, ergosterol, genistein, daidzein,
daucosterol, genistin, uracil and D-mannitol(a).
Cholesterol is needed for our body to build cell walls, make hormones

of accumulated of fat in the liver, not caused by abusive alcohol
consumption.
In HepG2 cell line, button mushroom (WBM), Agaricus Bisporus, has protective effects against liver steatosis in ovariectomized (OVX) mice, though down regulating genes related to the fatty acid biosynthesis pathway, particularly for fatty acid synthetase (Fas) and fatty acid elongase 6 (Elovl6)(1).
