1 tsbp balsamic vinegar
1 tsp Dijon mustard
6 tbsp olive oil

1. Mix the firs three ingredients thoroughly
2. Add the olive oil and whisk to viscous delight.

Or try this alternative:

3 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
juice of 1/2 lemon
salt
no mustard
